En la escuela de María Luisa llevan un cuadernito en el que la maestra nos manda sus comentarios una o dos veces por semana. Les voy a transcribir los más relevantes y después cada semana los actualizamos. Los dejo en inglés porque la verdad me da flojera traducir. - Alex

The children this week had great fun dramatizing their face expressions for different feelings, looking for numbers appearing in the classroom and making ballon face masks. Maria also shared with me what things make her feel happy or angry. She had also done an excellent painting on her "feelings". Weel done, Maria.

Dear Mrs. Cavazos,
Maria Luisa has been a good lunch helper as she voluntarily helps to set up the table during lunch (farol de la calle...). Good effort and keep it up! During circle time, sometimes she is quite excited to share her feelings and experiences with me and her friends that she talks when someone is talking halfway. However, just a gentle reminder, and she will express her views at appropiate time.

Note: Maria shared with the class today that she would like to be a farmer when she grows up as she likes to take care of animals and plants. Very unique interests and aspirations.

Today after reading the story "The Greatest Treasure" by Demi, Maria Luisa was able to reflect what I have shared with them and responded to me that the greatest treasure mentioned in the story was "happiness" and "family being together". Very good listening ears Maria Lu.

Esto está genial! Ya veo a Ma. Luisa queriendo dar su punto de vista antes que los demás y luego esperando pacientemente. :) Es un vistazo a su pequeño mundo, me encantó. Los quiero mucho a los tres!

Es de esperarse la inquietud típica de mi Pitus. Ahora porque recién entró a la escuela pero al ratito va a traer levitando a todo el salón incluyendo a la teacher y si no ahí me avisan dentro de unos meses mas. Les mando muchos besos desde acá en La Ribera de Tampico Alto.
